Termite galleries are rising up brick piers directly behind hot water unit on E wall into bearers and extending along joist and floor boards. Substantial damage exists to joist in this location. It appears moisture source in this location was the hot water unit outlet.
Positive indication by termite dog between fire place foundation and brick veneer, confirmed visually. Termites are travelling up between bricks.
Numerous galleries were found rising up inside front patio form work, attacking bearers once used as formwork.
Large mound/nest attached to cleared gum tree in nature strip may be the source of the infestation how ever several other infested trees in neighbouring property closer to dwelling could also be the source.
